Casio VL-Tone
1981

The smallest and youngest keyboard exhibit in the museum, the VL-Tone features a 100 note sequencer (referred to as ‘one note play’) and keys taken from a calculator (remember-that’s what Casio originally made). It only plays one note at a time, but has 5 sounds and a one programable tone. This was my first drum machine and is featured on my one and only new-wave song.
